Shukria Safi
Program Manager
As a Program Manager at Adult Enrichment Services since December 2016, Shukria provides person-centered training to enhance independent living skills based on individual ISPs. She is also responsible for aiding with budgeting, timely reporting of health concerns, maintaining nutrition, preserving benefits, documenting daily services and healthcare, organizing social events, and ensuring consumer rights are upheld.
In her previous role, Shukria served as an IHSS Provider at In Home Support Services, assisting clients with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and medical appointments, while offering personal care and protective supervision as needed.
She was also an ILS/SLS Provider at Positive Adult Transition, I provided person-centered training, budget assistance, health-monitoring, and organized social events to enhance independent living skills for consumers, ensuring their rights and well-being.
Shukria pursued her education at Ohlone College with a focus on Early Childhood Education following the completion of her studies at Sultan Razia, Afghanistan.
