Harpreet Kaur

Harpreet is the founder and director of Adult Enrichment Services. She has a master’s degree in psychology and was the former Administrator of Positive Adult Transition (PAT) Supportive Living Service in Alameda County.

Harpreet has more than 18 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities and supported living services.  

She started her career as an after-hours teacher at Young Men’s’ Christian Association (YMCA) in Fremont where she counseled students with special needs and their parents, guided teachers to identify and manage students with special needs, and conducted workshops for students, teachers, and parents on effective learning, teaching and parenting techniques. 

Harpreet oversees the administrative management of AES as an Independent Living Systems (ILS) agency and personal assistant. She meets every family that approaches AES to make them aware of their rights, procedures, and regulations.

Harpreet also conducts quality assurance evaluations and ensures that everyone receives the best care and attention. She is also in charge of AES’ communication and coordination with the Regional Center. 

Harpreet loves reading and listening to motivational talks, music and films. She is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and English and also participates in various volunteering activities in her free time.
